Are the dates on the obverse? Could you post a picture with the other side of the coin...maybe the date is on that side...

Joseph is right - that second coin has two pictures of the same side. I add a link to the Ethiopia date converter on Numisdoc. The Ethiopia calendar is 8 years behind Western calendar, so their dates 1969-2000 for that coin equal 1977-2008 elsewhere.

I think when a piece has been identified, as was with the 5 yen, then the user can check what country it is from on the coin sheet.
