Hi,
I can't see this medallion anywhere and wondered if anyone knew its rough value?
1969 1st Journey Round The Moon Sterling Silver Medallion Limited Edition Value?
It is a limited edition of 1000(no 278).
It is 5.0 cm across and weighs 58.4 grams.
Many thanks
Richard
Unless you find a very specific kind of collector, you're not going to get much above melt value. There are medallions that flew on many of the Apollo missions and can therefore fetch a nice premium, but this isn't one of them. Cool to look at, though. Thanks for posting it.
it's an interesting piece.
how do you know it is sterling silver?
if that can be verified, I image spot plus 15% would be a fair ask,
but as already stated a buyer must be found to discover the price.

Hi,
It is fully hallmarked for sterling silver with makers mark, lion passant, date mark and Birmingham assay mark plus it has it certificate which I have pictured.
the hall marks are on the edge then? if you are thinking of selling it, photos of those marks would be useful.
todays spot price USD 0.87 x .92 x 1.15 gives USD 55.
perhaps there is a collector community who might bid it higher than that.
