It's the link under the sample pictures of a coinpage. But that is only clickable for 3rd party sources, referees have also a source link leading to the uploader.

Correct. You cannot click on a user name below "entry" picture, only to be forwarded to the user who added the page. I found that sometimes awkward, as it would mean a faster way to swap with other birds of feather who flock together, if you catch my drift (Sjoelund). Some users tend to use their "war nickname" when adding new stuff, so you cannot get in touch without referee - in such case I respect the decision to stay hidden.
I guess Numista could be upgraded to a point, where every "user-issuer" of the page could mark at any time whether he/she/it (you never know) wants to be recognized by other people as a person who "added" the page - just as the same way as making an another post on forum.
LP
The credit link is not for swapping, would be quite inefficient this is just for copyright issues to get to the people who fucked up easier.
If you want to swap use the list or the "See the details of the coins available for swap" link under 'Get this coin' to see who wants to swap.
TRICK:
a white background (plain paper or plastic Villeda)
a stopper or other support with a diameter smaller than that of the coin placed on it
If you see the stopper in the lens it means that you are not facing the coin.
and Please take the picture before putting the coin in protection
Shouldn't a member who says 'I made the picture myself' be the author?
and have his nickname attached automaticalt to the photo.
Hello welcome to Numista, the web's great online resource for coin types and identifications, here you will be able to find out about almost any coin ever minted in the history of the world.
Our resource here is comprehensive, easy to use and best of all, entirely free!
We would kindly ask you to use this resource if you have coins to identify and value, especially if you are new or unfamiliar to coin collecting.
However you can also use our helpful forum, which has many experienced coin collectors (Numismatists) amongst its contributors to help you identify what you have.
If you start a new thread, please adhere to the following rules.
1. Please use English or the French language in your enquiry (Google translate can help)
2. Please have a picture of your coin/coins and try and compress this picture down to a maximum size of 1000 x 1000px, huge images will crash the site and not everyone has a lightning fast modem.
3. Please use as much descriptive information in your thread title
Bad = Old coin
Not Good = 1879 Old coin
Decent = British 1879 Penny sized coin
Good = British Penny 1879, fairly worn
4. Please use proper spelling and grammar, no use of text speak like U, 4, WhatR etc.
5. Please use appropriate upper case and lower case letters, no all Caps or no caps (All caps is seen as shouting and is very rude)
6. Try and use proper grammar, start every sentence with a capital letter. We don't expect word perfect syntax, but a decent attempt helps.
7. Be graceful and thankful for any help you receive, after all we are all fellow collectors giving our time and patience for you.
8. Welcome to our hobby.
I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.
