Old World coin or token?

I received this coin in a bulk lot of world coins and after numerous google and Numista catalog searches I have come up empty. The coin/token is ~24.5mm in diameter current weight is 3.8g(although it has lost some weight over the years) and is either copper or bronze. The images are about all there is to go on most all of the letters and numbers are unreadable. The obverse(assuming) has a .D at 8 o'clock and possible an E or R after it. the outer rim appears to have denticles(visible at top and bottom) the only other distinctive feature is what appears to be a medal around the chest of the figure(see image 2)

on the reverse are 2 figures facing each other at the 8 o'clock is an L and at 2 o'clock is A V or W REX
at the bottom is a line with faint outlines of a date or letters.

Any help on this would be fantastic. I'm sure there is no particular value in the coin but I would love to be able to identify it.
Thanks in advance
Mike
I forgot to link this similar token in original post.

I have a lot of those Louis XIV and Maria Theresia jetons, which is why I recognised it.
Though actually, you found the answer yourself - in your link is ...
Series: Louis 14th and Maria Theresia
just below the images on that page. I created that Series for all those I have, and it is

which your jeton is number 8 down that page. I created that page for mine four years ago ...

A huge thanks to ZacUK! You not only solved this but gave me more information than I could have hoped for.
Thank you

Thanks - it would have been more difficult if I did not already have one of them,
but I guess it would have been identified eventually. 8)
