Ireland became a republic on 18 April 1949, not on 29 December 1937!
29 December 1937 was when the Constitution of Ireland replaced the Constitution of the Irish Free State - & remained a Dominion within the British Commonwealth, as King George VI was Ireland's head of state as King of Ireland.
Please change the date to 'Republic - since 1949'.

"It had the status of Dominion until 1937 when a new constitution was adopted, in which the state was named "Ireland" and effectively became a republic, with an elected non-executive president as head of state."
I personally don't care to much just a titbit from wiki maybe that's way it is as it is now?
But it seems to be relatively mushy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitution_of_Ireland#Head_of_state
