Last year in 2020 predictions thread (https://en.numista.com/forum/topic89373.html), I've predicted that we are going to reach 200.000 coins in 2020. It took 11 months of hard work and WE'VE DONE IT!
I would like to express my gratitude to all the referees and contributors and see you in 2021 with 250.000

Citeer: "ellemerob"Great. That means that I have only 0.025% of all the coins registered on Numista.
Can you explain how you've got that number? I think you've made a capital calculation error.
Yeah I think I did. I got the number by dividing 5000 by 200,000. The answer being 0.025. I realize now that 5000 is 1/40th of 200,000 and 1/40th is 2.5%. Forgive me it was early.
2.5 % sounds a lot better, right? Although that might be not completely correct either. Those 200,000 coins are in fact 200,000 types. Your 5,000 coins in your collection on your profile are different coins. Unless you've only added 1 coin per type, that 2.5 % is not correct. To know the exact % you have, you have to divide the amount of different types you can see on the "My coins" tab by 2,000.
How many different coins there are in our catalog (= the amount of all year lines), I think only Xavier knows, but I think that's gigantic.

Citeer: "Idolenz"You also might need to subtract all 21528 exonumia items and a sizeable chunk of the 40000 tokens depending on your definitions.
Therefore as I don't collect tokens or exonumia, my percentage of actual coins should be higher again. It would be 5000 coins as a percentage of 140,000 coin entries which is 1/28th = 3.6%
