Hi!
I have noticed a confusion in the currency of Czechoslovakia.
In the coin catalogue the listed currencies are:
• Sokol (1920)
• Koruna (1919-1939)
• Koruna (1945-1953)
• Koruna (1953-1992)
• Ducat Trade Coinage
So here we are all good, and no worries!
The confusion comes in the banknote catalogue, where the currencies are:
• Koruna (1919-1939)
• Koruna (1945-1953)
• People's Republic ‒ Koruna (1953-1960)
• Koruna (1953-1992)
Here we can see a small confusion happening in 1953, where we seem to have two currencies circulating parallel with each other from 1953-1960. I know there were a currency reform taking place on 1 June 1953, which caused a lot of panic. The president then lied to the nation and said there were no reform taking place - but the very next day it took effect. But what this the one that lasted until 1960? If so, when did the fourth koruna start circulate? I thought there only were three korunas:
• First koruna: 1919-1939
• Second koruna: 1945-1953
• Third koruna: 1953-1992
So what's up with the fourth?
Citeer: "stratocaster"Hello
Thank you for reporting this
People's Republic ‒ Koruna (1953-1960)
Federative Republic ‒ Koruna (1990-1993)
These two currencies are old and should be deleted, but I cannot because there must still be coins/notes assigned to them.
The correct currency that should be used is this:
Koruna (1953-1992)
I reassigned the banknotes in question
