So I found this today, what I believe to be a 2017-A star note without the Fort Worth marking. Is this undocumented? Can it be added to the page so I can begin properly sorting my bills again?

Thanks in advance!
Update: made an edit, here's hoping it gets approved!
My understanding of modern US notes is as follows:
I think that any modern US note can be a star note. The reason for a star note is a quality control inspection failure. If the lot fails inspection, the failures are destroyed, and new notes are printed. The reprints have the trailing letter removed and replaced with a star, denoting them as "replacement" notes. I think there is a rule/law in place that the same serial number cannot be reprinted twice, and this is how the mint circumvents that rule (replacing the letter with a star).
A little more info on repeating serial numbers from onedollarbill.org:
"The last letter of the serial number or suffix letter identifies the number of times that the Bureau of Engraving and Printing used the sequence of serial numbers – A is the first time, B is the second time, C is the third time and so on. With one run for each letter of the alphabet (26) and 32 bill per run, there are a total of 832 bills per serial number."

What onedollarbill.org says about the star:
"Star Notes have a special serial number produced when notes are destroyed because of production errors. Star notes have an asterisk (*) before or after the serial number. The purpose of the star note is to maintain the correct count of notes in a serial number run without reproducing the serial number."

I think the term "asterisk" is a misnomer--we see a five-sided "star" in reality.
