Who else, apart from me, would be in favour of creating a separate listing for the Central African Empire?
The Central African Empire was a short-lived self-proclaimed monarchy in which Jean-Bedel Bokassa declared himself as 'Bokassa I, Emperor of Central Africa'.
It was in existence from late 1976 until it was overthrown in late 1979.
'Empire Centraficain' was its official name in French.
We don't separate other countries up when their political system changes. This is a bit unusual in that the country's common name includes its politcal status but I'm not convinced separating the coins and notes from these three years would be helpful.

Hello,
As far as I can see, this is the same country with the Central African Republic, just with a different name and form of government, so a new issuer is not necessary.
Best regards
