Maurides movie stars

Hello
this has nothing to see with coins, but for my father I am looking for mor information about a collection of chromos (pictures) of movie stars, that people collected around 1930-1940, and you'd find in packages of cigarettes MAURIDES
We know of 1 collection that was sold in the 80's for a LOT (!) of money ...

 I looked all over UK eBay and found nothing of Maurides in either current or completed listings - I guess it is spelled correctly. There is also nothing on the site below that has exclusively movie cards - from cigarettes and other sources (it has checklists and saleslists on there) ...
