hello im new here, im a banknote collector from portugal and i have a question as im building my collection of banknotes in this site.
how can we add a real price market value for banknotes? or only admins can do it? i mean, some banknotes have their price already given by somebody, but most of them are still empty... i would like to help editing this if possible...
greetings

Why should you (a single person) be able to place a market values?
The Numista values are generated by the input of buying values from many users or the newly implemented auction prices can give an idea of the values in the case of rare coins/notes.
All you can do is enter the prices you bought your coins/notes for.
because im also a dealer with years of experience and market price is not dificult to find, just search the main selling pages like ebay and delcampe and you can figure it out. i dont understand how some banknotes are valued under their face value to be honest...
It's very simple: too few values of certain grades, miss-grading and not a local but a global "market" value.
Don't take the Numista values to serious the system is inherently flawed.
