I happen to have received a 1968 and a 1970 coin WITHOUT any colored covers! According to numista, that's not possible, thus NOT foreseen, nevertheless I have those two coins! And I want to enter them correctly in numista.

Here just an image of the 1970

I suppose you'll have to open a new year line for each year to accept the coins not in their sets??? Probably the same is valid for the other denominations as well?

Your coin probably comes from a broken set quite some time ago. No way to tell if it came from the pink or the blue set since they're both the same coin. Several collectors brake coin sets open because they collect coins, not packages. That's why it's not a good idea to make year lines for the same coin but in a different packages. Where to put them once the set is broken? Adding a new year line for these only makes the problem bigger.
Right, we ought to have the proper choice, no cover, but the coin for sure! No guessing just factual registering!

The pink label and blue label are not the same coin.

Pink label are ordinary uncirculated coins, nothing special about them. Struck normally and just put in a set.

Blue label are special polished prooflike specimen coins. Not quite proof but they are what is known as a specimen or better quality coin.

If you see them side by side you can tell the difference. Blue label is almost like a proof coin (ie. prooflike)

Numista always has separate mintage lines for Circulated, Uncirculated (BU, UNC), and Proof coins.

If your coin does not look Prooflike it is from the Ordinary Uncirculated set, so add it to that line.
