1/2 philipsdaalder

Mooie zeldzame halve philipsdaalder met klop ,geslagen in Antwerpen.uit 1564.
Het bijzondere van deze munt is dat het jaartal boven de buste staat.En die vind je op internet bijna niet.

but how come that there is a big difference in this picture i marked red? The left one is mine and the other one from internet

Im sorry Peter that is a question I cannot Answer as I don't Know but Probably its another Issue or it Could be a Fake it Should have a Weight of 16.67g with a Diameter Approx. of 36mm looking at yours there are some big Differences.

If you look around on CoinArchives you can see there is some variation. So either your coin is OK, or the same counterfeiter made the coin I posted.

Then click on "World Coins"
Then I put "1/2 ecu Philip II" in the search box.

This will turn up coins from 1560s to 1590s, and some other mints, but if you look at coins from Antwero mint in the 1560s, the comparison should be meaningful.
