Hi there, I've got this Our Union Shield/Bust 1863 Civil War token to value, but I can't find the value. The only ones I saw like this were much better preserved and much better struck. I have not found it on Numista. It is made of copper or bronze, measures 18 mm and weighs 2,1 g. It is either well worn or poorly struck. There is a bump in the middle, as if it had been hit with something round. Do you have any idea of the value, or a range of values ?
Thank you.
Ginger
Si tu cognes ta tête contre une cruche et que ça sonne creux, ce n'est pas forcément la cruche... lollll mon proverbe préféré !
Looks like the catalog number is f108/201a.
There are a few different strikes indicated by the letter on the end. All of the "a" strikes appear to come from a weak die.
