Thank you frenchlover for that very interesting article. That is the exact "coin" that I have. I did not know that actual coins or tokens were used for a funeral. We only burned paper funeral or hell money (and a great paper contraption with money, maids, cars, planes and houses etc. for the after life)

I also did not know that according to the social custom, Chinese would place some real coins into the coffin, when they bury a dead person. This was also the custom in Greece and some other cultures.
