Yes, you noticed that also! I added over a hundred banknotes when there were far fewer then now. I never could figure this note out so I kept it out of my collection but apparently I was able to identify it. So when I just came across this note in an old file I thought it was still not identified.
Why is it important to identify yourself as a source? And on both sides? I started to not identify myself at all.
Thanks for your input.
Ben
Idolenz, I have the opposite view from you on identification of sources of photos on Numista pages. I identify myself only for the obverse when supplying both photos, thinking giving both is too cluttered a look. This seems to be the general usage on Numista. If I am supplying or updating only 1 photo, I would identify whichever that is. I don't really care if someone else uses my photos. Identifying the obverse gives me a quick way of seeing if I supplied the photo.
Edit: I think I learned something. It appears if you identify both sides as yours, the copyright notice appears without obverse or reverse. I never knew this. So perhaps I will start using it. I could swear I saw many entries with only obverse identified when I am certain both sides were supplied by the same person.
