I've entered a competition that is run by the University that I will be starting my course with later this month. The prize is a whole year's tuition fees taken off of your bill... so in my case £9000 (about 11,360 euros).
I would be incredibly grateful if you could add me on facebook and vote for me =]
I added you this morning and followed the link where it prompts you to "like" the page. Is that how the voting works or is there something else I need to do?
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.

I don't think that registers a vote... you have to click on the "vote" button. If it's not showing up on that link then try this one (though some of my friends have reported this one not to work):
I followed the link to vote for you and voted. Do I need to friend you on face book for it to work, I haven't used it much and would not know how to do that.
Hi Walder, if it worked without you having to add me as a friend, then I guess you don't =]
So if there's anyone that wanted to vote, but didn't want to add me as a friend, then you can!
Hi Akash, anyone can vote, it looks like it is just a popularity contest really... which is a shame. It would be far fairer if they gave the money based on academic skill and/or deserving. However, I'm still running for it as I really could make use of the free tuition!
