Why are there so many and I mean massive amounts of pricing errors on the site for example a coin in vf pricing higher than the same coin in xf also $2 Canadian coins pricing less than face value it makes no sense and is very frustrating when trying to make even swaps.
Prices are the result of automatic calculations based on values entered by all members.
Errors are coming from :
- wrong entries (error in coin identification)
- wrong grading (miror-polished coin considered as mint state)
- market mismatches (Spanish coin would have a different value in US, Japan, France, Spain..)
- Value meaning : is it the price I payed, the price I should have payed, the price I would like to sell, the price indicated in trustfull reference books, the price a friend of mine told me, the price I saw at Sotheby's ?
