As I have been looking through the entries for Guyana I saw the entries for British Guiana. In keeping with consistency there should be a separate listing for British Guiana under Guyana along with Demerara and Essequibo . The current listings that have been made for British Guiana should be transferred to the new listing.
Good luck with this request. The current "management" of Numista are on a quest to hide as many name changes of states as possible in a ridiculous attempt to "make the catologue more accurate" (their words not mine).

Interesting read! Thank you for putting up the link there. It comes down to one person's convenience is another person's inconvenience. Similar to the argument about combining P-types on one page or not. To me it's an inconvenience because the dashboard is erroneous information. Some people find it a convenience to have on one page.

No catalog will ever be "perfect" but Numista still is the leader for coins and banknotes. And banknotes are only just over a year old here.

It is what it is.

Well put, thank you!
I visited Honduras a couple of years ago. I spent some time on an island of theirs in the Caribbean called Ruatan. The guide shred with us that their is still a lot of English spoken on the island from the time it was part of British Honduras. Apparently they switched pieces of territory at a point. So technically Belize and British Honduras encompassed different quantities of land...so...

British Honduras covered the same territory of what is now Belize.

British Guiana should be listed separately from Guyana, as does South West Africa being listed separately from Namibia.

Aidan.
Well. I guess the person living on the island should have okayed his story with you before he told it.

The islanders are descended from Jamaicans who settled there during the colonial period.
