A selection of banknotes that have automobiles. If you can help to identify any of these vehicles, please let me know. I was not able to identify most of them...But I few were found out!
Beautiful notes especially the Malawi 50 Kwacha note with the Land Rover Defender on it.
Edit: For some reason half of the banknotes you’ve shown don’t have the tag for car in Numista.
Automotive banknotes that also have cars on them that aren’t mentioned is
Barbados 10 dollars 2013-2017
PR China 1 Fen 1953
Hong Kong 100 dollars 2003-2007
German Notgeld Federal state of Thuringia 25 Pfennig 1921
Macau 10 patacas 1984
There may be more but like I said in the other topic cars on notes are underrated and more should be printed.
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
Your mention of losing interest in Thai banknotes is a shame. I tend to think the Rama X designs are a little boring but the varieties are becoming quite interesting. The switching of the legal warning on the back of the original 20, 50 and 100 seemed to only be a precursor. They were printed in low numbers (in a relative sense) to begin with. There are 50 and 100 baht replacement notes with the second signature set of the series but have serial letters from the original (previous) signatures(with revised legal warning). I am still trying to figure out that mystery. The newest 100 baht from the signature of Preedee Daochai looks to be the smallest print run of any Thai note in the last 30-40 years. I seem to have found what will be signature transition notes of all 5 Thai denominations but have yet to see if the other 4 will have a signature of Preedee or if all 5 will transition to Preedee's replacement after 26 days on the job. While waiting for new signature sets, the money keeps getting worse and worse. Maybe they are delaying release of new banknotes because of Covid19. If you are into interesting varieties, don't give up on Thai notes yet.
Aside from the new Rama X notes check your 120.1 notes and see if it has the proper A/ก or if it has the serial prefix from 120.3, A/ร but signatures of 120.1 .
Suggestion for one of your videos. Why does the 20 baht Rama IX Remembrance Note have a bunny on the back lower right?
My opinions on what make and model is the car on the banknotes.
For the Transnistria note the car on the right is most likely a Mercedes-Benz 190E 1982-1993 or the C class 1994-2000. I don’t know the name of the car on the left however the van in the background is either a Volkswagen transporter T3 (1979-1992) or T4 (1990-2003) van or a Ford Transit 1986-2003.
The car on the Kyrgyzstan banknote is a Wartburg 1.3 from the German DR 1988-1991.
Finally on the Belarus note at least 3 of the 5 cars are Lada Rivas or Vaz 2100 series in Russia one being the estate version.

Citeer: "Oklahoman"Thanks for sharing your automobile banknote knowledge. I have never even heard of some of these automobiles!
My knowledge of cars is the only hobby I know more of than coins and notes.
Also I forgot to add the possibly make of van in the background of the Transnistria note.
VW T3 and T4
and the most iconic U.K. van the transit
The pre 2000 transits are becoming rare on U.K. roads and some are going up in value recently. You may not know about them because only since 2014 they’ve been sold in the Us as a sort of replacement of your iconic Ford E series van which I never heard about until I went to the states.
Anyway most of the vehicles I’ve talked about weren’t sold in the US but maybe imported privately such as U.K. black cabs in the states and US cars to the U.K. (Apart from some US cars sold officially in the U.K. between the 70s and now)
