This 10 Đồng note only exist with the date 1980 according to Bank Note Museum but we have two dates, 1980 and 1981. Please delete the second and move owners to the 1980 date.

The note is dated, so it might be a good idea to check if someone of the 20% actually a 1981 dated note. Banknote Museum is good, but just like Krause it doesn't hold all the answers. Don't follow something blindly, always collect facts first.
A Google search does not turn up a single example of this note dated 1981. We can ask the members if you like, but the quuickest way to resolve this is to move the members to 1980 and wait to see if anyone complains. Then we can ask for an image.

This is just an erroneous date. Sure, it is possible there is an undocumented variety of this note from 1981, which 20 percent of members own; however, considering how common this note is, there is a much more plausible explaination:

1) When the original person created this page, they accidentally typed the wrong year of 1981 (year-line #526073).
2) When the page was approved, the erroneous date was overlooked.
3) After being approved, other members started marking it in their collections, either not caring or not paying attention to the erroneous date.
4) After a while, someone submitted the correct date of 1980 (year-line #531208--so this went unnoticed for a while).
5) Everyone after that point marked their collections on the correct date of 1980.

This situation has happened a few times in the past, and I am sure it will happen a few more times in the future. But for now, on this page, it would be safe to merge these year-lines (which is done now). :)

Yes, this sounds very plausible.
