Citeer: "tdziemia"Possibly Tommaso Mocenigo but the coin has been clipped so much that the legends bearing the doge's name are completely gone. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces41894.html
Many thanks i did look at Tommaso Mocenigo but the reverse looked different thanks for your time.
I took your reverse photo and rotated it a bit more than 180 degrees clockwise to get to the proper position, then compared to a reverse of the Tommaso Mocenigo soldino. My skills aren't very good, and your photo is quite dark, but here is the result. I have used a red arc to try and indicate where the edge of your coin is. The comparison is not too bad, including the position of the letters M A R at 3:00 to 5:00 (and of course there is the match of the sigla of a star with something like a sideway S below on the obverse).

Thanks again for your time and help i will give the coin a little clean and take some better scans.
Probably the last thing I can contribute to the discussion ... I took a look through CNI.
If the reverse type is the rampant lion (which I believe is the case), then Michele Steno looks like the other possibility.
CNI VII, p.114, 9-15 has the Michele Steno soldino with sigla * above m behind the doge (or something that looks like a script small m).
CNI VII, p.120, 13-15 has the Tommaso Mocenigo soldino with the same sigla in same location.
Other reigns with the rampant lion reverse do not have this sigla.
If I look just to the right of the star obverse, the most visible letter in the legend on your coin is rounded, either an O or possibly a C.
The Mocenigo legend on that side starts + TOM ...
The Steno legend starts + MIC ...
Maybe with the coin in hand you can determine which of these is more likely?
Always great fun working on puzzles like this. Good luck!
