Token ? [opgelost]

Have a nice day.
Is it a token? It's a machine or hand-stamped ?
A neighbor returned from Switzerland to visit the mountains and brought me a copper plate.
copper, 3,74 g, 35,14x 21,33 mm
I put a description in the search engine:
Kraftwerke Oberhasli AG will replace the existing dam with a new one between 2019 and 2025. The old wall is in need of renovation, but it will be preserved and will later be flooded. Around 90 years ago the construction of the old dam was spectacular - this is also the case this time, with the construction of the new wall.

yeah the other side is smooth - clean.

if it was really such a mint as I found one, I wouldn't even ask:

But my copper one reminds me more of a sign on a wooden tourist stick, however, it is attention and a gift so I want to keep the memory.

Hi Ivan,
I believe your ‘elongated penny’ is a machine stamped souvenir coin.
Indeed a good memento.

Have a nice day and health without stress.

That's how I understand it that it is therefore a taboo topic many times ,,Elongated Penny,, I have something like this for the first time- So the base is a copper coin. . It seemed crazy to me on the tops of the "Alps", I thought it was fashionable overseas when they didn't know what to do with money from too much wealth.

So a forbidden topic, Many coin collectors are brought out with a measure of sight. ,, I respect ,,

Well, just what coin can they use as a background do you think?

Hi, I minted such a token myself in London in 2006 from a 1 penny coin. The cost was probably £ 1. Regards Mariusz
The machine presses a blank copper (or copper plated zinc) planchet — about the size of a US penny into the elongated shape with the desired style.

The blank planchet (before pressing) looks a little like this:

Kind Regards,

Thank you so much, so empty -copper coin plate, empty.
So with this explanation I can live happily that the circulating coin did not fall victim-Thanks
