Indian Temple Token V.K. 999. How likely to be silver ? [opgelost]

Below are the photos of the token.
It's 37 or 38mm [pictured in a 40mm capsule]
It weighs 20g and has a Specific Gravity of approx. 10.5 (weighs 1.9g submerged)
Although I have seen many 'plated silver' versions, and a 'Bombay 999' on a smaller token, I haven't seen one this size elsewhere with 999 (silver?) indicated, and "frosting" on a mirror finish of the Sri and Om lettering.
Laxmi and Ganesh are also "frosted"
Is it likely thus to be genuine, (& pure silver) ?
What is the relevance of the circle of swastikas with dots ?
And what does V.K. stand for, in the V.K. 999  ?

.
Looks like silver, has 999 on it and has the specific gravity of pure silver. I'd say it's pure silver. You could try ping or ice testing to confirm it.

V.K. is probably the designer/engraver's initials.

The Swastikas are symbols of divinity and spirituality in Indian religions, including Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.

Thanks
On such silver tokens the 999 stands for purity i.e. 99.9% pure silver.
V.K. are jewelers' initials
