I have this silver round and want to make sure its legit. One of my worries is that it says 'contains one ounce pure silver' but it seems heavier than one ounce. Is it just not 99% percent silver but if you subtract the other metals from it you'll get a full ounce of pure silver? also if this coin is legit I've not found it on Numista's exonumia could it be added? thanks for any info. ( this is not the picture of my exact coin just at the time my phone was dead so I looked up a picture of it and copied it) mine is the year 1981 btw.
Keep in mind, pure silver? What does that mean? I am quite sure this coin designed for stackers does indeed have 1 ounce of pure silver. The .925 kind of pure silver along with a small amount of other material. American Eagles are .999 pure silver, so you get 1 ounce of pure .999 silver as well as trace amounts of other material. Not to worry, you still have at least 1 ounce of "pure silver".

just again wondering could this be added to the exonumia catalogue because I just want to be able to have my whole collection in this website so I know the full extent of my collection is all
Right. Dont rely on my silver content quote at .925 as I just got that number on a quick internet search for that coin/round. .900 is probably the real number. Due diligence before adding it.

I'll admit that .900 based on a weight of 1.1 oz and a total pure silver content of 1.0 oz. could easily be really .925 if the weight is actually a little less than 1.1 oz. However, we may both be wrong and the "CONTAINS ONE OUNCE PURE SILVER" may not be exactly correct. Here's two pages (one reference page and one ebay listing) that say explicitly that these rounds are .999 silver and really do weigh more that one ounce.
I honestly don't remember but i definitely saw .925 somewhere and just used that as an example. I saw your 2 links as well after the fact. I wasn't looking for precision at the time, just trying to make the point that this manufacturer is reputable and the OP could be assured that there would indeed be at least 1 oz. of "pure silver" in his round. If he is going to enter the round into the catalog, that is where the homework and precision begins.
http://chiefacoins.com/Database/Micro-Nations/Gold_Standard_Corporation.htm Found a link to a page about the company that made this this will most likely help in setting up the addition to the catalog. And got to research much more cause there seems to be a lot of different ones this company made first things first got to try to find the year range of this exact coin then the rest to get this on numista
