This is a coin I got from my coin dealer today but I have no idea about what it is. It is definitely an Indian coin ...but I'm not able to get which type or from where it is so please help me out with it
will need accurate weight in grams, and diameter in mm

only thing I can think of with just these photos is either some kind of roman groat (less likely) or one of those ultra thick Indian copper coins of some province/state/area of some sort (more likely)

Could be a copper coin of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. The diameter of 16-17 mm would be right for a quarter copper tanka or half dam. Such coins weigh around 9.4 to 10.5 grams and often have only part of the legend visible.
