Old coin left by my mother [opgelost]

Good evening all, not too long ago my mother passed away.. various items left .. and I came across this interesting one .. now my mother travelled a lot with my father in the Far East and Middle East .. so could be from there .. it’s a Napoleon iii gold coin .. not too sure if you tell but is it a real one !!?? Personally I just live the bling and I have many items that I’m sure many have said will not part with ,.. but I will not it’s for my boy in time .. would one of you kind folks if you know anything about these let me know please cheers
