A request for help in identifying the country of mintage. I don't know the weight or diameter.

I think this is from India, from one of the Sultanates, but without weight and diameter I can't tell more precisely. Hopefully another of our members will be able to read your coin.

Edit added later: The unusual brassy appearance of your coin reminded me of the "forced token currency" used by Muhammad bin Tughluq of the Sultans of Dehli (AH 725-752 = AD 1325-1351), and a search of Zeno came up with a match and proved this correct:
