Help with two crested medal? coin? Does someone recognize the crests? [opgelost]

I got this in a lot and has got me confused. I know there are coins with crests on both sides but I don't see any clear denomination so I'm guessing it may be a medal. Just below the crest on the second photo there's a small year which I think read 1650 (although the second digit could be an 8).
If someone recognizes one or both crests it will give me a hint on where to look for more information.

Hard data: Diameter: 27.4mm - Weight: 5.55gr - Width: 1.3mm
Seems to be copper/copper like material (non-magnetic)
Thanks to Apuking and some googling I managed to read the second side
Side 1: * VITAe * PARs * NvaLA * PLRi/tT
Side 2: CHA.EMA.DE.MONGEY.EN.PARL.VIC.MAIEVR.DE.DIION
Charles-Emmanuel de Mongey by Parliament Viscount, Mayor of Dijon

Of course searching for year, diameter, etc brought nothing on Numista (or the interwebs).

Thanks in advance,
Alex.

Thanks Apuking. That is certainly a great clue! The reverse of mine looks extremely similar to this one on our database. So I presume mine is an earlier example (1650 instead of 1662) with different obverse. At least I know the provenance now to see if I can find more information or a better match.
I'll appreciate if someone has a catalog of French tokens and can take a look ;)

Thanks Apuking for the hint, it allowed me after some more research to sort this out.
Got the list of Mayors of Dijon from Wikipedia, and checked who was there in 1650. Monsieur Vicount Charles-Emmanuel de Mongey is the
answer. With that and other similar jetons from that time I could decipher the writing: CHA.EMA.DE.MONGEY.C.EN.PARL.VIC.MAIEVR.DE.DIION

Googling a bit more I found this post in the Numista forum which shows the same token (from 1649) in two varieties, and with that I can read both sides.

And I found the token in the catalog already but only with year 1649, so I requested the year 1650 to be added. (There's also a duplication which I also reported).
