Hello everybody. I need help with identifying this coin. Probably Greek, but it could be from another place, I saw similar ones in the Romans and Phoenicians, but I haven't matched any yet.
Bronze, about 22-23 mm and about 5.25 grams.
Thank you all!
WOW! Amazing, thanks a lot for the tip, some details fit perfectly, I'm going to do some research now trying to decipher more elements in my coin. I will come back here after drawing some conclusions!
Yes, everything is correct! Yes it does! I looked at the type on Numista ( https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces247692.html ) and went to the OCRE website ( http://numismatics.org/ocre/id/ric.1(2).aug.230 ) and looked at the type there with several exemplars. And everything matches! What do you think!? Thank you very much indeed, I am very happy with the identification!
Citeer: "Camerinvs"Yes, I think it's the one, and with the coin in your hands it's possible for you to read more of the legends.
Yes! The little visible caption matches this type. In hands it's much better to see. I am very happy with the identification.
My first coin of Augustus ! :D
Thank you so much for your help!

Citeer: "Camerinvs"You're most welcome.
As you are no doubt aware, it isn't a museum piece, but it remains a witness of history, however modest.
Thanks! That's what I like the most. It doesn't matter the state of conservation of the coin, what matters most to me is the story it carries and that it can tell us, think about how it went during the years that followed its minting, by how many people, was it buried and for how much time, ... This fascinates me too! :D
