Will it be possible to add a prova to the Angola 1948-1949 10 centavos issue? I do not have an opinion if it should be a separate page or added as a year line under the type. Thanks!
Citeer: "Guidelines"Note that collector’s and presentation issues with the same design and physical properties (for example, proof strikes and polished die strikes) should be listed as date lines for the circulation types. Patterns and trial strikes should be listed separately from the circulation types.
I would not ask if I did not have the coin, sorry for confusion. The reason I am asking is I have 15 or so Portuguese Colonial provas and creating a page for each would be quite a task.
Nice coin! Unfortunately, they will have to be listed on separate pages. I do believe that Provas are almost identical to the circulation coins, so you can just copy-paste the data into a new page.

I got all of my coins (10K+) from the eBay over the last 20 something years. And I was especially fond of Portuguese colonial issues, fascinated with Portuguese explorers. They used to be available regularly on eBay but dried up now somewhat :-(.
I'll do a separate page maybe over Christmas holidays, plenty of free time.
I would like to go back to this topic and re-open the discussion about Portuguese colonial prova coin page details.
I've got a third prova for the Mozambique KM-79, Schoen 24. They were minted in 1952, 1954, 1955 and 1960, I now have 1952, 1954 and 1955 provas. I really not think that we should be opening 4 different pages for these provas while there is only a single page for original coins. It appears that the Portuguese provas were not issued as a proof/test of the design, but rather test of the strike or, maybe, for collecting purposes as well.
And this is not a unique type situation - I have mid-series provas of 1951 50 centavos (second year after 1950), 1953 and 1955 2 1/2 escudos (2-nd and 4'th years in the 6-year series respectively), etc.
I am not very active on Numista - use it a lot but try to limit my contributions to meaningful facts and pictures - but I do think this requires some further discussion.
If several Provas are all of the same type (no non-trivial distinguishing features other than the year) it is reasonable to consider them one type and put them on one page.
The general rule is one page per KM number, but that comes with an implied footnote of "when KM isn't wrong". And I think KM is being unreasonable in assigning a different KM number for each Prova year. Lit all the KM numbers in the references, and in the comment field on each date line.
But I'm not the person to convince -- you need to convince a referee to approve the changes (or to make the changes if the date line is locked).
I've asked the referee for Portuguese colonies, but I think he have not yet had a chance to look into it. There is at least one case - Angola 1928 2 macutas where prova is already added to the general page of the type - https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces4560.html
