Help needed to identify inscription on Japanese medal [opgelost]

3 berichten • 40 keer bekeken
Hello,

I would like to add to our catalogue this tiny Japanese Aluminum commemorative medal of
Admiral Tōgō Heihachirō and the battleship Mikasa.

I cannot find any other piece like this one online so at least for the addition in the catalogue i would like to also include what is written on the medal.

Can someone help me write down the text which is found on the medal. Ideally also with translation as Im not sure Google Translate will make a good translation out of it.

Metal: Aluminum
Weight: 1.42g
Diameter: 22mm

Its not the greatest piece of engraving mastery but it fits nicely into my collection and I do like it a lot.

Thank you,

Paul
