I've just won a 1952 2.1/2 shilling in F-VF condition for £2.67 and 1.00 postage and it's still cheaper than melt value. :) I think this is my best bargain buy yet !
From South Africa?

If it's a UK coin it's not silver, just letting you know!

Wow, that's spooky, I was watching the same coin because it started at 1p and there were no bids for ages. The coin is slightly worn, although the sellers pics weren't all that, but it's still a cracking deal :)

It is the South African one yeah lol. And it may have been rick like I said the grade isn't the best but it's still cheaper than melt ha ! It wasn't listed as a half crown or 2.1/2 shillings it was just 2.1/2 lol
It is the same one rick on 2nd look its probably VG-F actually but still worth it for now till I can afford a better one then sell it
1952? If it had been British, it would have been much more valuable.

Nice find, though.

I'm not too bothered about British ones though I mainly collect colonial stuff and the odd home coin lol
