Notification upon new swap-offer

Hello,
I noticed, that there seems to be not notification if I receive a new swap offer by another collector.

That measns that I have to check my "Dashboard" to see new offers. If I do not do that regularly, I won't notice that and the other collector might think that I do not want to swap, although I might want to.

A notification per E-Mail (such as for new message) would be helpful.

I agree but I think that introducing the swap by a personnal email from the collector is the minimum...

The only reason is that swaping must stay first a deal with plenty of communication between 2 collectors.

We are not simple machine... we are human and The dashboard is only a helpful tool, and must remain !

I do not want the Dashboard to be vanished.
And of course communication is important.
But there is communication when starting a new swap. As you know, when you have chosen coins from somebody elses list, you can enter a message for the other guy.
My point is, that until now this kind of (personal-)message is not being announced by an automated email.

So... go to "Your account" and look for the 2 last sentences at the bottom of the page :

"Always notify me on forum replies"
"Notify on new private messages (PM)"

...Notch what you need  

I have already chosen to be notified on new PM before.
My point is that starting a new swap offer is NOT handled as a regular PM - altough it should be.
So you do not get an e-mail-notification.

I've received your message... I think I understand what you mean but I think you don't understand my opinion... I will explain it...
"introducing the swap by a personnal email from the collector is the minimum" ...and should NOT be replaced by an automated alert/notification/message...because is the basis of the "good manners" to introduce each other... you know ? That's only my opinion !
But you are right... sometimes when the swap is intricate, and there's many changes, we forget to warn the other... and the 2 collectors will wait in vain.  

... Xavier could do this to test... but we should expect to receive a lots of emails !!
