I have a similar one, posted about it here trying to get some more info, but had no luck.

From reading here and elsewhere, I've gathered that these are “Mexican wedding coins" - other cultures have similar concepts.

There appear to be many varieties, and it seems that they may have different gold content. Given the tiny size of these, it's very difficult to ascertain whether they're gold or not; if you have a large quantity of them as the picture you provided suggests, you might do an acid test to determine he purity. I'm not entirely sure that finding the specific gravity will tell you much, as it's likely not very pure.

Whatever else you find, please let us know as I'm curious about these as well.

It looks messy, but the link ZacUK posted has a few different listings for tokens like yours.  It looks like some of them are gold plated.  It's not enough to be worth anything, but still pretty fun to have so many of them.
