I have noticed that entries of 10 cent euro coins are described the edge in different forms.

So, while the edge of French 10 cent euro coins is described as “reeeding”, “fine reeding” or "indented"

N#100

N#3510

N#153954

For other countries I checked so far (Spain, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Greece), the edge is only listed as *indented*.

To me, “Indented” appears to correctly describe this edge, however, it is not included in the list of edge shapes in the Numista catalogue (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/edges.php)

Should it be?

Furthermore, considering that the very same photo appears to be used for all the 10 cent euro (all countries),

should existing entries like the above be updated to just ‘Reeding’?

and/or have the same-edge photos deleted?

as they contravene the guidelines that

If several coins share an identical face, do not reuse the same image for multiple coins. Photos should belong to that specific type.

They should all be indented, you can make the CR to have it corrected (modified).

You are free to replace but not simply delete them. Personally, if I have a set of, let's say, a few dozen coins with the same edge/ face I will not take and edit the same picture dozens of times (but it's a single country in my case).

I agree, that is a sensible approach, although some other referees might not be so forgiving.

The same situation on the French-speaking side : “striée finement”, “cannelures larges” =  (“finely ribbed”, “wide grooves”)

Shouldn't the edge type of Euros be standardized according to the decisions of the European Council?

Note that the Banque de France has specified “Smooth with seven deep grooves” the type edge of the 20 cents
