Hezký den kolegové.

I still can't dig up with of   ,, Seleucid Empire,,  but this coin does not fit me there or for the Romans, which I have separated separately, I can't find a similar design either.

It's a provincial coin?  Someone will remember?

It's a rider or standing behind a lion, a bull?

Bronze,    4,59g   , 18,03mm   Th: 2,63

I don't know at all and I searched Rome and nothing.

Thanks for the help.

Ivan

I wish you a nice day and no stress.

So thank you very much, my friend, and I take my hat off.  Thank you for your help ,, Alexius 73,, . Hand on heart - we would all like to collect mainly Gold large coins, they are the most legible even after two thousand years, of course, my pocket money as a war veteran and invalid -I don't have a lot of choice, so I study auctions on the website and choose affordable options and add to my collections monthly.

But I don't have this metal and I also read about it for the first time:

 https://hmn.wiki/cs/Orichalcum

You ask:   Yes I rated it as brass - and I wasn't that far away either , Just like we have the "Nordic gold" alloy, which is patented , Here we can talk about "Southern Gold"( probably an alloy of metals that gave rise to such a specific mysterious mixture)

After pulling a large pile of coins out of the ultrasonic bath - originally they were just hardened mud and sand, I noticed the color ,structure of this coin . The other bronze was with a black, brown patina as given by copper and other metals, a mixture of the original patina, and this coin was different : compare

here you can compare with coins of the same composition:

Yes:

different point of view.  and not that I've been taking bad pictures lately, but my vision is bad - I found out I'm going to have to go to the doctor and get my eyes tested, I only use it for reading and a tablet, mobile phone, notebook, ordinary -reading glasses and now I have some bad vision of the world (so rosy everything)

view under a microscope:

enough likeness

Interesting discovery, I have gold, I really enjoy silver and it fulfills my main collecting interest now, but the mythical metal with the mythical "Atlatides" I'm glad I didn't throw the rest of the coins into the dustbin of history.

Can someone else provide a website for this metal and the coins minted from it?

So thank you and enjoy the upcoming tropical weekend with natural phenomena out of the ordinary.
