Hi
could anyone help me out identifying this coin please?
I believe it to be a 1/12 1786 einen Thaler.
Numista does does show one minted in 1786

thanks

KM also does not list the date.
Maybe someone with a good Germany catalog can check.
Please always provide a page link if you are talking about a specific coin
You can send a change request for the page, you might also add a comment that Krause doesn't list this date maybe also include the pictures.

That’s a beautiful coin is all I know
Thank you for your replies
i’ll keep doing some research
BR ET L is abreviation for Braunschwrig und Lüneburg
Edited:
Schön DM# 340 matches KM# 1000 and doesn't list 1786.
Hello to all of you! This exact type of coin (1/12 of a thaler) can be found in K.M. under Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel,everything matches except the year 1786 which is not listed. Errors like this may be found in the KM catalogues sometimes… Or it is a very rare year of minting, not yet known…
Interesting to find out the real situation!
Andi
Welcome to numista and please remember to follow this in the future:

Thank you everyone- I may try to get a KN catalogue, but will likely list this in a auction soon
Maybe you mean a Krause and Mischler catalog also known as KM or SCWC. try amazon.
Mishler without a C.

Here is Numista page link for your coin: N#35626 , which lists it as KM 1000- and although NGC world coin guide (Krause catalogue online information pages) skips the year 1786, for KM # 1000, this appears to be just a simple error. Here is page link to the latter: https://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide/world/german-states-brunswick-wolfenb%C3%BCttel-1-12-thaler-km-1000-1780-1806-cuid-1148133-duid-1349162
Thanks for this information 👍
