This coin is a 21 waves design and has the same markings as N#147247. It measures 27 mm diameter and weighs 4.4g. The design on the N#147247 appears to be recessed where this coin has a raised design. After looking at all of the coins listed I can't identify this one. I would appreciate any info on this.

N#147247

The design is not recessed, it the same as on your specimen.

You have a short legged variant and personally I would put it under DHJ# 4.251.

Which one of the 22 waves doesn't count as a wave?

The narrow areas where you show the numbers for the waves appear to be lower the the wider areas between them. On my coin the narrow areas are raised and the wide areas are lower. Is this just an optical illusion?

Ahhh!  I was counting the areas between the lines.  Tricky 😅

That's too funny. I went back and counted it the same way. Never thought of it.

One reason why I don't like scans of coins.

But I can't see what you see … that I know what these coins should look like may play a role in that.

Thanks for the patronizing reply

It wasn't patronizing at all.  Actually it was very helpful.  Sometimes scans can create optical illusions where up looks like down and down like up.  That's what's happening here with the picture on the coin page.  If one already knows what the real coin looks like the brain doesn't fall for the illusion.
