Really worn medieval coin

I bought this coin and I can't seem to ID it. Might be German because of the eagle on it, but really unsure. Script seems to be gothic.

Diameter is ~15mm; weight is 0,44g

I'm a Lithuanian coin collector.

The design details make me think this could be a coin of Deventer, which used a shield with an eagle, and the style of cross reverse was common in the Low Countries circa 1500.

I did not immediately see something in our catalog, but will keep looking.

Edit: Something like this coin, but with an obverse legend that might read: (Emperor's name) D G RO IMP  on the shield side.

Of course there could be other places in the Holy Roman Empire using the eagle and this wording.

Your response seems very accurate and I apologize for not replying sooner.

The legend seems to be bigger than the coin shown inthe link, but nonetheless this is a very solid base for identifying it.

Thank you, I really appreciate it.

To be clear, the coin in the link is not your coin.

It was given as an example of a Low Countries coin with the crowned eagle-shield, and a similar cross on the reverse.

Some Groningen coins also had this combination in their design, and maybe are more likely, if the part of the legend we can see on the obverse says GRONIN.

I was more-or-less on track with my first response (and less with Groningen).

This Penning / 3 Mite of Holland has a legend CAROLVS D G ROM IMP on the eagle side.

Penning / 3 Mijt - Charles I/V - Spanish Netherlands – Numista

Probably we are seeing D G ROM IM on yours from 6:00 - 11:00.

The reverse legend is a very abbreviated version of DA MIHI VIRTVTEM CONTRA HOSTES TVOS (for example, DA MI VIRT CO HOS).  On your nearly illegible reverse, I think we can see CO…S.

Now (finally) I think we have found the correct coin.
