Hello Silberschatz,
It is a byzantine silver basilikon, minted in Constantinople for Andronicus II "Palaeologus" and his son Michael IX, co-rulers of the Empire from 1295 to 1320, but the coin itself has been struck between 1304 and 1320.
Obverse : Christ “Pantokrator” enthroned facing, raising right hand in benediction, with two stars flanking upon armrests ; christogram IC - XC to either side.
Lettering : KYPIE - BOHΘEI // IC - XC in the fields.
Translitteration : κύριε βοήθει // Ἰησοῦς Χριστὸς.
Translation : O Lord Saviour // Jesus Christ.
Reverse : Andronicus on the left (depicted with moustche and beard) and Michael on the right, standing facing, each raising hand to chest and holding a labarum between them.
Lettering : AVTOKPATOR - EC PΩMAIΩN
Translitteration : αὐτοκράτορες ῥωμαίων.
Translation : The Emperors of the Romans.
