Hello,
Someone recently came to me with a weird coin. Apparently he bought it from a french collector who told him it was a french medieval coin, but I couldn't verify anything.

Thanks for your help
It would really help if you could give us a bit more information about the coin.
What is the diameter at the widest point?
How much does it weigh?
Photo of the reverse of the coin?
We have some skilled identifiers on the forums here, but all of that will help narrow things down tremendously.

Wish I could give you more info, but I legit have not that much.
Let me ask him for the physical especifications.
When we passed through the metal detector it gave a low number, so I can only assume it's not silver nor copper. But it was a really small coin, so that could affect it.
Here's the reverse

Thank you for your help
Not sure what is on the obverse - maybe a portrait facing right?
Both pictures quickly cropped and joined:

Something like that.

I think it's that one, it has the big B and the rhombus under it. The obverse is too damaged to really tell, but it does look similar.
Thank you for your help and hope you have an excelent week.
