Need help identifying what I think is an ancient copper coin from India

Diameter: 17.5mm

Thickness: 3.7mm

Weight: 7.58g

Welcome to Numista!

Diameter to the nearest mm and weight to the nearest tenth of a gram are generally needed to help ID this type of coin.

It looks like Bhopal ¼ Anna

Referee of south atlantic islands

Diameter: 17.5mm

Thickness: 3.7mm

Weight: 7.58g

Thank you for providing the diameter and weight.

Frenchlover is correct, and made a good call.

It's a quarter anna of Bhopal, Shah Jahan Begam, KM Y#4.2, similar to this one

I don't see a date on your coin, but these were made from AH 1285-1300.

I just want to thank you all for your help. So thank you.
