Most beautiful coins

In your opinion, which country/territory or during which historical period/governor the most beautiful coins were issued?

Italy 1900-1949 and USA 1916-1930.

For me usually foreign coins tickle my fancy but in 1934 my country finally did a coin right in my eyes.
