Hi all!!! I've found when inputting my French coins the following discrepency in the catalog for 5 Centimes KM# 933 France:
For the year 1997 Numista lists the following:
- 1997 bee mark, 4 folds
- 1997 bee mark, 3 folds
- 1997 bee mark close to "5"
- 1997 bee mark close to "R"
It turns out to be totally unclear whether the last two variants (bee mark close to "5" and bee mark close to "R") have 4 or 3 folds!!!
The same regarding 1998 5 Centimes:
Numista gives the following:
- 1998 bee mark, 4 folds
1998 bee mark, small serif on "8"
1998 bee mark, full serif on "8"
Again, it is unclear how many folds the "small or full serif on 8" variety has, like say I have a 1998 4 folds coin with say a small serif on 8 - in this case I have to check both coins - 1998 bee mark, 4 folds and 1998 bee mark, small serif on "8" but I actulaly own only a single 1998 coin!!!
To all collectors from France - could you please clarify this and amend it in Numista? It would be great!!!
Thank you so much !!!!
P.S.: By the way - the small serif on "8" and full serif on "8" - could you please post some pictures if you have to assist me in the right identification of the varieties or just explain it in more words?!!!! + 10 and 20 Centimes coins - do they also have varieties regarding the number of folds? Numista lists none. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!1
