Can anyone identify this? 25mm copper. Is it as described?

‘1788 (below)UNION (above)’ with a handshake design, both sides. I hope the photos appear below.

According to an ebay seller, it's a British token:

Thanks, but I don't see any mention that the token is British. Only that the seller is in GB.

His Mitchener # 5759 is the giveaway that this is a British token. Although Mitchener did catalog French and Indian tokens too. Just ask the seller which Mitchener catalog he used.
