tdziemia - Really sorry to bother you again.  I have been looking over the description of the coin mentioned above that was recently so kindly posted to the numista site.  Originally you said that my coin obverse was: dot SIGISM dot III dot D:G () REXPOM dot D dot L dot which was correct.  When the coin was posted to the site the dot after the M in REXPOM and before the D was left out.  Also, which is really picky on my part, the attribution of the pictures was mikeglenmilner and it should read mikeglennmilner - two n's in glenn in the middle part of the name.  Is there any chance these two minor adjustments could be made to the page or is that asking a little too much?  After all in the forum part where I first mentioned the coin I myself have made many spelling and gramatical errors.  The adjustment in the description of the coin might be useful though.  I will attach original two pictures and a third I have taken which shows the dot befor the D more clearly.  Hope all is

well with you. Regards, Michael Milner

You can directly write to him, it will be mire efficien than a thread ;-)

how do I write to him directly? Regards, Michael Milner

just found out how and have sent a private message - Regards, Michael Milner

OK, just seeing this.

I will submit those changes (sorry about misspelling your name!)

On the legend, as I looked more closely at your photo, I was not sure of the dot between M and D.  Certainly it is not as well formed as the dots (or ringlets) before and after the L, and this area is dark in the original photo.  But you are in the best position to see it!

Thanks,

Fortunately I have the luxury of magnification and the dot is there and quite visible.  That area of the coin in the pictures I sent in  is quite dark and I can see not being sure about the dot.  Hope you are well and are having a good holiday season.  Best Regards, Michael Milner

Thanks tdziemia,

The changes have been made on the page.  I have one other coin that I think is worthy of inclusion on the numista site.  My other coins are duplicates of ones already posted.  This one that I have from 1593 however is one that has not been listed on numista as far as a variation in lettering and abbreviation on the obverse is concerned.  On the page on the numista site the 1593 coin is listed as:

1) SIG · III · D : G · REX · PO · D · LIV / GR OS - ARG · TRIP - CIVI · RI - GE

This is the only listing for the 1593 coin on the page.  My coin has : after the III section on the obverse.  Is there any possibility it can be included on the page or, at least, have it listed as a number 2) in the section that details the obverse descriptions of several years of this coin that have been already listed.  The page is:  N#65317

I know I have been somewhat of a bother but if you would consider inclusion of this second coin I have that I think could possibly be included on the numista site I would be quite grateful.  I understand you are busy and it is the holiday season so I know this is quite an ask.  Included are pictures of the coin.  Best Regards, Michael Milner

Sorry - it should read double dots after the III on the obverse which can be seen on the coin pictured itself.  Thanks again, Michael Milner

Wow - actually it was correct on the original post - I misread it after posting.  The first post says two dots after the : as pictured on the coin.  Sorry for any confusion.  As I said the original post about this coin is correct.  Apologies for any confusion.  Michael Milner

I see this one matching Iger R.93.1.c. (which also has some variants).

I will look into how to submit it.

Never any problem… Holidays can cause some delays 🙂

Thanks,

I really appreciate it.

Regards, Michael Milner
