From a sampling of 63 coins, mostly cents and dimes:

Oldest coin = 1964

Median date = 2006

Philadelphia mint = 60%

Denver mint = 40%

Of the 33 cents, 7 were bronze memorials (21%), 6 were zinc memorials (18%), and 20 were zinc shields (61%).

Sorry, it's certainly a problem with mulled wine and interpretations of your message. Which coins are you really talking about?

Coins with Indianapolis written on them, or eventually coins with Indiana written on them, or both ?

Yes, I do have some of those from the different mints!

Maybe that is where he lives.

The coins are ‘mostly cents and dimes’.

Cerulean is normally quite a precise member, but here I'm really lost?

It's really quite easy:

He visited Indianapolis, Indiana, USA in December of this year.  During his visit he got 63 coins in change, most of which were pennies and dimes.  He got 33 pennies, 7 of these N#42 , 6 of these N#43 and 20 of these N#10969 .  We don't know what the other 30 coins were except most were these dimes N#53 .

Thanks for clearing my gray cells from the eggnog's influences, here it's late!

Sorry for the confusion, Sjoelund.  I am talking about assorted USA coins of many types that I found in everyday circulation in the vicinity of Indianapolis, Indiana.
