I've just created a request to add a new coin to the catalogue, with a Hijri date of 874.

However, when Numista automatically calculates the Gregorian date, it comes out as 12 AD.

Am I doing something wrong, or is there a possible bug in the Numista date conversions at the moment?

Thanks in advance!

I get the same.

I have the same for a request nearly two weeks ago.

Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.

The same thing applies to the portrait 1 Rupee coin from Bahawalpur dated A.H. 1343.

I have mentioned a problem with non-gregorian dates, but it seems nobody else is bothered by it: dates are not overlapping, so that for each non-gregorian year there are two gregorian years (and vice versa).

This should be shown in the catalogue.

But - that's just my view.

The Anno Hegirae date is actually 11 days shorter than an Anno Domini date - as the A.H. date is a lunar date & the A.D. date is a solar date.

and what about tens of other calendars?

Even in Hagirae there are discrepancies:

And this example is what we should have all over the table:

This is very handy;

But we have got so far off the original topic here! There is a bug in which AD dates are calculated completely incorrectly (out by millennia!) from Hijri dates and we are trying to stack single year splits on top of this.

Let’s get the problem of thousands of years fixed before we start quibbling about 1 year!

Hello,
