Hi everybody I get this coin 1943 Lincoln wheat penny is this coin look steel or zinc or bronzy coin I need your help please. thanks

That year the 1 cent coins were all fe-zn, so rust came easy!

Hello Aden. In 1943 America needed copper for the war effort so they made pennies out of steel. Not much value there in that condition. I have many including “reconditioned” ones that make them appear brand new but still adds no additional value. Just a marketing scheme to sell them for more than they are worth.

Yes, thank you.  I am tempted to do so but never for types I have because I like to keep my collection private.
